So I am just curious what many of you think. 4 Players left out of 10, so we are left with the bubble

First postion has 7200 chips, second position 1800 chips, sb = 445 chips and BB = 5200 chips

200 chips to call into the hand

First and second fold, sb goes all in. BB wound up folding. would have cost him 245 to call

At this point in the game shouldn't he call regardless of what he has?

I'm struggling with this myself. I'll usually call in a situation like that and it sucks if I lose but more times than not I assume he is going to push regardless of what he has because of position and I should just call. Its barely a dent in my stack. But it could give him new life.

However, even if I have 3/5, 4/6, seems like a legit call. If this is a really dumb play let me know.

Thanks for you thoughts

I would call with any two cards. Usually there is too much in the pot to fold, you have to take a shot. If he wins he is still on life support and your stack would be unaffected.

I'm amazed he folded. That's an automatic call, doesn't matter what he has. I saw that just tonight the short stack goes all in with 1250 when the blinds were 500/1000 and I think the whole table was dumbfounded when the bb folded, only 250 more to call. Nothing surprises me anymore in the game of poker we all know and love

I'll call an all-in with ATC provided it will only cost me up to 15% of my stack

Many players call in this situation and win. SB doesnt have much to choose ... probably he doesnt have big cards.. or even if he wins.. you wont loose much.

to call or not

I would call because of the percentages to win the worst he can be is 6 to 7 percent to win with ak vs aa. etc

calling is the most logical decision especially on bubble and for such a low amount of chips any two cards would suffice

Snap call with anything, if this was live I wouldn't even look at my cards before calling. It's possible that the BB was multitabling and clicked the autofold button before it was his turn.

It's a call. With 6/2 you've got at least 30%, if you are not against pocket pair, there is value in calling.

BB sucks when he folds. SB is going AI with ATC here.

Unless, as PG said, he auto clicked fold. Which still is stupid with 4 players left, and these stacks.

We should call here everytime as we are getting pot odds regardless of what we are holding and will have decent equity against most of his range to win
Even if he wins, he will still be short & will probably get KO sooner or later unless he gets rush of premium hands

I would call any two cards here. It just makes sense.

Easy call. The general rule is if it's less than 10% of your stack at that point, you call with any two.

BB isn't chip leader in this game and if this game pays out 3 spots, I can see BB folding and allowing SB to maintain their severe short stack in order to apply more pressure to the CL and 2nd short stack.

Since both players are behind BB (5.2K) when he is the BTN, he can apply a ton of pressure on the BTN to pick up the blinds and antes. He'll be applying max pressure to 2nd short stack who probably doesn't want to bust out before the severe short stack, so they'll be folding a lot of hands just trying to make it.

So, BB can slowly build up their stack taking dead money preflop and whittling away at the 2nd short stack.

Just a theory.

Of course the answer is easy . Snap call and get rid of him , so as to go on and continue to the paid positions . If we lose this we go on , our stack almost untouched .

It's a call, without a doubt and you are in a heads up situation. The small blind has only you to beat, and he figures to scare you off. He most likely has nothing, so go for it.

There is a concept in tourney poker that whenever you have 10x the bet and can close the action, it is as close to a 'must call' as can be.

Worth thinking about as well.
