When should I call bets 80% the pot with a gutshot draw ? I mean sometimes I miss it but the chances to hit are very low... Is there any specific situation to make this call ?

I usually don't call. you just don't have correct odds. it's worth calling only in multiway pot when you're deepstacked otherwise it's just waisting your chips.

I agree with LinkornU, you don't want to be wasting your chips chasing gutshots. If you want to carry on playing the hand, it would only be worth investing money when you've already made a pair or you're drawing to the nuts. Ideally you want to be doing this when you're multi-way as most of the time you'll be getting the correct odds to chase your gutshot. If you're never in any of those situations, it's always best to just fold to heavy action.

When multiway pot and you have deep stack.

like others have said it can be profitable when deepstacked and especially multiway. But heads up u are just not gettin the price

If pot odds doesnt warrant, try considering implied odds with condition of multiway of course.

Clear chances to catch straight is about 1/12. Plus potential. So 80% the pot is admissible if you exactly know that opponent will bet much in any case and your both stacks are deep.

Calling with a gutshot is usually an awful idea.

HOWEVER, if you think your opponent is weak and/or you think you can bluff him off the pot on the turn or river, then calling isn't a huge mistake. You could steal the pot with a well timed turn/river bet + you have the implied odds from making your straight (you have a 1/6 chance of getting the straight and your opponent will never put you on a gutshot, so you could get a lot of value for it).

If you're trying this, it helps to be in position.

Better do not call, but if you have a deep stack and you ll win a lot of chips maybe call is good.

when the implied odds are high enough. If you are only going to hit the card 8% of the time, which is like 4 outs or so then chances are you should almost never call for the gutshot, But if the implied odds in the hand are big enough then you can justify it. If they have plenty of chips behind and you put your opponent on a big hand and you have plenty of chips behind then there is plenty of value to gain from hitting your hand, granted that the bet isnt too big of your chips stack or of the pot size, Then you will have sufficient pot odds to call on hitting your gut shot because the payoff on the river should yield big returns, usually their entire stack or a great deal of money. This is the only time i will call gutshots, if my opponent doesnt have many chips behind or not very much money there is no point to me calling to hit the gutshot unless the pot odds are good, which they usually aren't. If you are 8% to hit the gutshot then the bet would have to be very low to the size of the pot for you to call and hit without any implied odds. Only call if you have a lot of value to gain in the hand after your card has hit, that is the only time you should call a gutshot. Good luck.

Call a gut shot to the nuts with a huge pot.

It's more a kin to call gut shots in limit than no limit. A gut shot with a hand like 8-10 needs specific circumstances in no limit to be worth a call. say 4 people are in the pot worth 200 bucks you called in small blind with the 8-10 suited. Flop comes 6-spades-9 diamonds and ace of clubs. The the c better best out 80 you call 3 people call one person folds. The turn is a 2 of spades. Giving you a flush draw as well. C better bets 175 bucks should you call? Knowing that your a dog here is ok because of implied odds you place him a possible set but more likely the top pair or ace high x of something. Any spade gives you a 75% chance of winning the hand so that's probably 6 outs and the 7 could be 1-3 outs. so you have 10-12 outs. Ideally a 7 of hearts wins you the pot here but you have some outs gl with it.

To further answer your question in no limit same hand 8-10 but a flop of 6-7-3 rainbow could be the right situation for you to do this. say there are 3 people in a smaller pot of 75 bucks a c bet of 30 gives you the right price to call and when you hit a check can be good way to trap a-k especially when they river the king.
