so i have this deal with myself that whenever i am raised when i am BB and the raise is 2BB i always call. even if short stack.
i see a lot of player that post for example 200 Big Blind and someone rise 400 and they fold, even if no one called.
are they just super tight or do i get it wrong?

Deals Deals Deals

You are doing the right thing but do consider folding when you have super garbage hands. Some of which are at the bottom of the list of "best starting hands in hold'em". You can find the list and look it up. Since you have a deal with yourself i am sure you wouldn't mind breaking it. If you do then "Deal with it". :D

It depends on who is doing the raising, how many people are in the pot, and also what you plan to do post-flop.

If you're calling min-raises with ATC in the BB 100% of the time you're probably losing a lot more in the long run than you're gaining. Keep in mind that you're playing out of position post-flop which weakens you significantly. If you're check-folding the flop the majority of the time, people who are paying attention will pick up on this and exploit it too.

60% of the time, Ill call. But you have to consider many things with the call. If he is LA, at the button/SB, etc-Ill surely call.

If you're a short stack, why are you calling instead of playing push / fold? Maybe call if you have enough fold equity for a stop and go, but if you have that much FE, how short can you be?

I have the same question here :) I preffer pushing with short stack not calling !
