just wondered about calculating outs

on the flop i am able to figure out how many outs i have and then usually apply the 2 4 rule to help turn it into a % but i wonder is there any way or general rule of thumb to help eliminate part of your outs due to opponents folding some of your outs or some of them being the burn cards?

Lol unless you have rigged the system and you can monitor everyone's hole cards you cannot have any idea what they have or what they did fold.

So there is no way to calculate to help eliminate part of your outs due to opponents folding some of them or even them being burn cards.
You can only see that when you are watching a replay of a tournament with hole cards exposed. Even then there is no way to take burn cards into account. :alien:

Theres no way sir.

Even if we negate 1 to our outs, the percentage is somewhat the same.

So no worry about those use muck cards and/or burn cards.
