I had believed that if you were the last raiser pre-flop, you SHOULD C-Bet on the flop, whether or not you hit.

It turns out that PT4 Leak Tracker is telling me that my C-Bet and Flop Agg Factors are off the charts.

What's right???

I did notice today that in 401 hands of $5 NL FR I saw a lot less C-Bets than I did in $2.

Also, what is a good C-Bet size when you do hit the flop and C-Bet? Pot?? 1/2 Pot??? Is it depending on several factors such as table dynamics, pot size, etc?

No. I mean...against certain opponents and in certain situations it might be correct but in my opinion cbetting 100% is not right. There are flops that obviously hit opponents' calling ranges and cbetting with no pot/fold equity on them is just a waste of money.

PokerTracker4 claims that about 50% - 70% is standard for winning players, which is even logical: about 30% when you have sth on the flop, 20% when you have some kind of a draw and the rest is just your ability to read your opponents (cbetting on dry flops, using your fold equity/opponents' Fold to cbet etc).

As always it depends. For example: if he folds alot to cbets why bet pot sized bet if 1/2 pot bet will do the job(in case he calls, you just saved yourself a 1/2 pot bet)? If you have a strong hand why bet 1/2 pot when pot sized bet will get you more value. etc etc :)

Cbetting 100% of the time is very easily exploitable by any thinking player. You don't need an HUD to realize someone is betting every single flop they see as the preflop raiser. The cards on board and the player you're up against need to be considered (not to mention what you're trying to accomplish) and eventually you'll want to start thinking about your perceived range which is always important in any hand played.

You can cbet a bit more liberally in position when it's checked to you. Be extra wary about auto cbetting in multiway pots.
