I open up Preflop quite a bit in this one running at 26/24 with 10% 3bet over the whole hour. Made me realize that i totally spew in 3bet pots so am definitely looking to see what people have to say about some of the times my light 3bets get called. Atleast I have identified a problem in my 6max game, and that is I am lost in 3-bet pots. Going to have to work to fix that as I want to be able to play a 26/24 type game.

downloading now. %10 is pretty damn high and I don't think you can get away with that long-term. You definitely can with a 26/24 style though.

Keep the videos coming man!

I'm half drunk, so take this with a grain of salt and all that.

AA hand early on I definitely valuebet that river. All types of one pair hands are looking you up, and you can safely fold to a ch-r since nothing you beat does that basically. Made hands don't often ch-r the river. I don't think checking behind is weak, you're just missing some value.

2:50 QJ shortly after...egh tough spot. On a non-heart turn I probably CRAI but I think folding there is ok. Shoving the flop is an option too but I think readless it's a little spewy. Just a nasty spot.

4:00 AJ I 3bet and get it in against a shortstacked 92/17 fish. Really don't like flatting out of position.

Running 6 tables or whatever is really annoying for a video, even if it's temporary :p

When I say loosen up, opening the button more is exactly what I mean. 3 betting, squeezing and calling raises are all low-percentage plays in general (without a strong read) whereas blind stealing and isolating are the opposite. I can't stress stealing REALLY wide enough when you have remotely tight players in the blinds.

It'd be nice to post your stat layouts in the thread for each video. I know you listed them in the last video but I've since deleted that and am to lazy to re-download it :/

QTs hand at 12:00...I need aggression stats here :). If he's aggro, I check the turn to him again since most draws on the flop would have bet already, so I expect him to rarely if ever have a hand good enough to call a turn bet, whereas he'll bet his whole range if checked to. I also obv don't want to get raised off the best hand. If he's passive, bet-folding the turn's fine.

88 hand at 15:20 I don't hate the calldown, but I don't think he'll have complete air too often there. I might even just fold the flop and let him have it. I know we'll often have the best hand, but there are just too many bad cards to drop for us to call down.

Bottom left table I get up and sit to Dannykuh's left :) n/m, he left...

I dunno about the overbet with 63 on the 4-straight board. The thing is they'll so often have two pair hands (or even one-pair hands in the case of the 30/6 fish) that they can't let go of.

QJ double barrel I like, but the sizing is a little too big. He's either on air (including gutshots like KQ/QJ) or he's got something he won't let go of (Ax/Tx). Big bets do nothing good against that range unless he's aggro enough to bluff-raise the turn at the sight of weakness, which I don't even see often at 100nl and 200nl. Also if your opponent is observant, it balances our range nicely. With AK for example you want to bet small here to induce calls from weaker aces and gutshots, and save money vs Tx.

19:45 don't think I like the double barrel with 33. If he's bad enough to call the flop with a small pair (or FD), then he's rarely letting go of the turn. This guy's just bad, I like the flop raise, but just give up on the turn imo.

20:50 definitely call down the AK as played on the flop, which I like checking back too. He's bad enough to call with all types of unpaired junky hands, so most of the time he's drawing to 6 outs or fewer there. If my opponent is tighter I like betting the flop since he'll have lots more pairs in his range that may fold, and if not they probably fold to a double barrel.

22:25 I still 3bet AJ.

I fold 92o with a fishy-looking 20bb short stacker in the SB

like the J3 squeeze but it's a little light with the REALLY bad player in between.

J9o 3bet turned nasty on the all-diamond flop...for one I don't think 3betting is bad, but is something you should do more vs people who are more passive, and when you have position. 3betting oop is so dicey against 24/20s, which it looks like this guy probably is over a larger sample. They won't often fold pf (fold to 3bet stat ftw) and will shove and float tons of flops. I'm probably just check-folding there. If I get checked behind on, I'll probably check it down again, and if we see a brick river I might value bet tiny to eek value from TT-. One thing Stosh taught me which was a little surprising is that there's nothing wrong just giving up in a (light) 3bet pot. Think of it in terms of you having already 'took your shot' pf, and just give up. I think that's a prime spot to shut down.

As a very general point which I'm kind of reiterating from before, I think the key to playing a lag game successfully at the lower limits is playing a crazy-wide opening range on the button and to a lesser extent, the cutoff. 3betting light and squeezing just isn't necessary. It's definitely profitable, and will make other plays more profitable, but oop I like toning it down lots (without strong reads).

28:40 QQ against the huge fish...I bet-fold that turn. He'll have a ton of draws to call you with, as well as any pair basically. I probably bet-fold turn, then on a safe river I put out a small 1/2 pot value bet, and check behind the scare cards.

k I'm exhausted. You can send my 6 pack of stella as payment via fedex and I'll finish the rest tomorrow. Hope I made sense, I'm pretty beat.

KQ at 30:00 just cbet the flop. Not sure about his raise flop stats but if they're high I'd be happy getting it in against him. Check-calling just throws all FE out the window and into his hands.

92 two pair I raise way more on the riv, probably $6-7. We crush his range and he never folds Jx/Qx and maybe not even 9x.

9s at 33:20 well played

I think Paaalli was just picking up hands. He's so rarely bluff-raising that Kxx flop with two people yet to act. My guess is either a set, a slowplayed AK or a flush draw, but usually flush draws don't get that aggressive. HU I'd be pretty happy stacking that, I think. Unless he's a complete nit IP vs cbets.

A6 at 40:45 I don't like your reasoning of calling to 'see what he has' :p, but I do like the calldown. The guy's a maniac and he just lost a huge pot so he'll be bluffing really often there.

77 at 41:40 I just give up on that flop. Those guys are terrible, they'll call pf with A2+, they won't ever fold any pair on that board, and they won't even fold KQ/QJ. Not to mention the FD.

Sorry, don't like the bluff-raise with A7 vs the massive fish. Flop is fine, but once he calls he'll have pairs and FDs a lot imo, and won't ever let go of either.

75o at 47:00 I'm happier letting him bluff than value betting into him.

AT at 54:00 is good, but I much prefer flatting AT in general. It's just so in-between with value vs bluffing and not knowing where you stand postflop makes me want to flat it more. Being in position makes it a lot easier to play though, so I don't hate 3betting at all.

58:00 call with 44! You've almost got implied odds against just the 3bettor (paalli) and now the 60/11 big blind cold calls the 3bet and you've got more than enough. I think flatting just the 3bet would be pretty marginal, but with the BB in it's an easy call.

24 where you flop the straight I like just pot-pot-potting it too. Both those guys are so bad and will look you up pretty light.

A8o at 59:15 I dont' like isolating the fish oop. As played I like just shoving the turn. You don't want to see yet another scare card for him (like a K) to scare out his 56 or 77 or whatever.

A8o at 1:00:40: I think I prefer check-calling the flop. Letting him draw for free is much of a concern than risking our stack or risking letting him bluff us off our hand (ie by building a bigger pot and having to fold to the riv). Maybe a block bet on the river there, you still often have the best hand.

KQ flat at 1:01:55 I like betting that flop. paalli flats behind you which means a SC or pair, and the initial raiser's check means he probably missed that too.

K2 just fold, that's complete spew calling the 3bet.
