Would be interesting to know which variant in your mind is best suited for building up a bankroll

One idea i have is to play the MTT SNGs like acoimbra (10 Dollar to 1k and 100 dollar to 100k Challenge) With the intention to transition to scheduled tournaments in a later step.

Another option for me would be to play NL 6max cashgame starting from NL2 and grind it up from there.

Doesnt matter what you start with.. Stick to your BR limits.. 4% on MTT 7% on SNG and 100 max buy ins for Holdem Cash, 200 Max buy ins for Omaha cash. You'll get there.. But you have to stay disciplined.. thats the hardest part.. Just stay disciplined. And play EXACTLY those %s Not below or Above, Below you are outside your max productivity curve, above you wont be able to handle the swings of poker. GL in future events.

I'd recommend cash games, but as already stated you really do have to be disciplined. Tournaments/MTTs seem to have a lot more all-in moments with coin flips (or worse) that you feel obligated to play (even if you don't want to) simply because you need to double-up before getting too short. You don't have to worry about that with cash games - there will always be another hand.
