I'm not a jackpot/spin and go player, so I can't speak first hand, but I've heard from very good spin and go players that you want 300-500 BIs to play spin and gos comfortably. That would mean a bankroll of $600-$1000 to play the $2 games. That's what a professional player would use, if you're a recreational player you can probably get away with 150-200 BIs, so maybe $300-$400?

You may think that these recommendations are very high, which they are, but the swings in jackpot games are crazy. 100 BI downswings aren't unheard of.

Thanks for your input! I was thinking of 100 BI's, but i guess the high swings warrants for more.

Would multi-tabling increase the BI's? 2 tabling = 2x? etc...

For example:

Building a bankroll using this kind of strategy is not very wise. Unless you have a lot of ubyins available, then it's viable, but even then, a really smarter decision would be building the bankroll at cash tables/tournaments.

I agree beter for building bankroll is cash/torney/sng in jacpot is more game of luck and you cant wait for monster hands ante and blinds will grow very fast. And if you will play with shit hands than you losse.

To play these games you should already have a good bankroll.
