Hi,

My maingoal of this year with poker is to build a bankroll without making any deposit.
The thought is that is I play well, I do not need to deposit.
The idea is to start building the bankroll with freerolls, and from there on to expanse it. Do you have any tips for accomplishing this, like a bankroll management or something? For example if I have won 10$, with buyins should be reasonable to play tourneys?
Thanks in regards.

signup on a site where you get some free money or tourney tickets as part of the signup and then grind it up from there .

you can create a bank without depositing just have to have patience and perseverance, since in several poker rooms are given opportunities to achieve this, if my experience was with deposit .. but after getting my bank in 0 graciasa a free tournament could add back .. then left in one handles it ... and the control you have over it.

You can build a bankroll all right but without deposit it takes time. Maybe a year will be enough.

I'm in pretty much the same boat. personally, I've come close to money finishes in a few freerolls but no luck yet. Any money i win from free rolls will probably go towards Sit n go's. good luck

Accumulate around $40-$50 through freerolls. From there on, you can play the lowest stake/buyin you can find and apply now a bankroll management system.

0 TO 100 . Very bold and many have tried. I think it all comes down to having patience. You really have to decide and know what exactly it is you want out of the experience. best of luck

I am trying the same thing. My advice is to sign on to lots of sites that have freerolls and play lots of different ones. I've been doing this for about 3 months now, and have built up $50, $35, $12, and a bunch with less than $5. Once you have about $10 or $20, then you can start playing STT or low limit Cash games. I played a lot with my bankrolls of $2 but I go broke more often than I build it up. Now I wait until I have about $10 or $20

I did it on 2 sites, it is pretty easy.

If you want to be sure of success, you need to wait until the BR has 30 buyins for the lowest cash game (usually 2NL) and only then play it. SnGs are not good at first due to higher variance but you can switch to them after bankroll gets bigger.

If you are impatient then you can give it a shot earlier, but it is frustrating to wipe out the bankroll due to being underfunded.

I wrote this ages ago, but the advice basically still holds true:

https://www.cardschat.com/forum/learning-poker-57/building-a-baby-bankroll-181238/

A lot of empty words and no recommendations how to start playing

If you start play on pokerstars, need only bankroll "5$", this 50 bi for 0.10 360p, quite enough for grinding.

When bankroll will be "12$" , you can move up to limit 0.25$ 45p, this 50bi., when bankroll "40$" move up to new limit 1$ 45p and so on.. When bankroll will be more than 200$ , you can add low buy-ins MTTs.

Two main factors "grinding" and "bankroll management" That's all !

Many players want easy money, but did not want to work ... In poker there is no easy way out, you need a lot of play, grinding per day 7-12 hours...Therein lies the secret of the marvelous success in poker

I have only one tip:
- just deposit ffs.
- it will unlock many rewards, better freerolls etc.

You really dont have 100$ to deposit at 2 or 3 sites? They will not let you withdraw anyway before first deposit.

Im not saying to waste those 100$ in couple of days. Just play combination of freerolls and real money games with strict BM.

Or you are under 18 and dont have deposit options?

This question have been answered in many threads.. But yea you could , it will cost you endless hours of grinding freerolls but if you do manage to get a bankroll going , have a good bank roll management plan in place. Good luck.

But yeah bankroll management is really important and try not to play tournaments for more than 10% of your bankroll.

Building a bankroll!

I have not made a deposit since june and I have made over 450 dollars, I am now playing small tourneys with 1-3 dollars buy-in with a 50 dollar bankroll and I have cashed out the rest of the money.
It is possible to start from zero but you need very much patience and a big amount of luck as well in the freerolls.

I've been able to do it on Bovada and currently doing it on the super soft SportsBetting site, which has a ton of freerolls to start you off. I have no experience withdrawing from them though, so who knows if you can actually get the money you make

I started with freerolls at ACR and have been playing .01/.02 micros with the winnings...I'm up to around $10 total after 2 weeks of play. I've also tried a couple .5 MTs with a bit of luck. Whether I'll actually get up to a decent amount of money this way, only time will tell. But, I'm definitely getting a lot of experience on the cheap. :)

If you won't deposit any money then chances are you you won't won any cash as well. If its just for fun then try to make a research online maybe you can get some websites that offers free play.
