I'm a long time Holdem player, and I'm interested in learning Omaha. Really...I don't even know where to begin. The overall strategy does seem very different from Holdem. I have so many questions, but I guess I'll start with what sort of hand ranges are you looking for? Having four cards instead of two really complicates telling a good hole card situation from a bad.

If you've never played you should probably read a book first. It's a much different game from holdem. You need to understand starting ranges and the math as well. If playing cash you need a bigger bankroll as well because the swings are larger. It's not for the faint of heart but certainly a wild good time!

I'd suggest reading a book or watching some guide videos on how to play good Omaha.
