The hard part for me isnt to grind the cash up that i manage to do pretty well but to keep it there and keep grinding it when i am about a 100 dollars profit is impossible for me shuold i make some goals for me like when i am at 20 dollar profit for one session i shuold quit for the day and if im 10 dollar downswing i should quit what strategys wuold u guys suggest

BRM is one of the factors in how good or bad you are. So, the fact you lost your entire BR in one day does not suggest you're decent.

Well grinding up to 190 then bust suggests you arent a good player and horrible BRM. But here is the"guidelines" i try to adhere by. Cash games-20x max buy-ins. SnGs-40x buy-in. MTT-100x buy-in.

I know this situation.. I won 200 bucks from a 10$SNG ticket won at a tournament..wich I played it on a 10$heads-up and won 19..and after so on..until I hit 210..but wanted to win more and more...but I lose it all...what could you say about this...this is my major problem..cause in the game I ve started to play much better ... many things learned from this forum..wich I can say RESPECT

Apart from grinding, the other facets of preparation in becoming a great player include allocating study time, going through strategy articles, videos etc.. try to be creative in your approach. only sitting at the table will only get you so far. Participating in forums will give you an insight into a possible style of play that'll come handy in the future perhaps. Good luck.

With $10 BR, you should be playing the lowest stake for cash game and lowest buyin for tournament/sng available.

According to BR Management, there is a multiplier X Big Blind for you to follow and its up to you to assign the figure of the multiplier.

Good luck...

You need to scale down your desire to increase stakes, you simply cannot afford to play at higher stakes tables with your current BR. I would recommend grinding micros until you've built up a sufficient roll.

I agree with Dolo, grinding micros is the best way to build up a decent BR, its exactly what I'm doing myself. Before the desire to play a 5dollar would take over, sometimes I'd win & sometimes not. But I soon learned I couldn't afford to lose those 5dollar games, because I would be determined to win it back & so I'd want to play the same stakes again so I could get it back FAST.

But realistically your inexperience can show at those higher stakes & so its better (IMO) to grind the micros & study until you have a comfy BR & can afford 20-30 buy-ins @ the higher stakes.

Best of luck!

You say you think you are good at your level. If you've been playing for a month I highly doubt it. What you are experiencing is probably variance. You had a good run to get to 190 then you got your equivalent downswing to 0. BRM is to survive this "variance".
