Hi everyone, I've been playing since July since then I've been playing and studying very much. I still have huge leaks in my game by I consider myself I competent player for the micros at least.

So I been following the next BRM.

I started with $20 + $10 bonus and on my first week I won $10 on a MTT so my initial bankroll was $40. I´m playinh on 888 btw.

2nl --> $125(25BI) shot at 5nl, move back down at $100
5nl
-->
$300(30BI)
shot at 10nl, move back down at $250
10nl -->
$875(35BI) shot at 25nl, move back down at $750

after more or less 45-50k hands I reached $125 and start taking shots on 5nl playing a couple of 5nl tables and a 2nl snap table. When I felt confident I replace the 2nl table with 2 more 5nl tables.

After playing 53k hands in 2nl I ended up with 8.4bb/100 (6.9bb/100 all in EV)
with the following stats.

VPIP: 28.7
PFR: 22.5
3Bet: 6.9

When I moved up to 5nl I changed my preflop charts, and now I´m using one that's has open raise, raise over limpers, call/3bet, call 3bet/4bet, squeeze, and I saw I great improvement in my game as im having less akward situations as I had before when I was using my previous charts.

After almost 9k hands in 5nl now I have $296 so im almost rolled for 10nl with the following stats

22.3bb/100(12.3bb/100)
VPIP: 24.6
FPR 19.8
3bet: 8.7

here im clearly on a big heater, but 5nl didn't felt much harder than 2nl so clearly im running good but I don't feel like im gonna be a losing player.

So the reason of my post is: I don't know if once y reach $300 I should be taking a shot at 10nl or I should keep grinding 5nl till I make at least between 30-50k hands to have more realistic stats. And in case that I make this I don't know how to follow up with my BMR, because suppose after those 30-50k hands I finished up with something between $300-400 im gonna be over rolled should I then change my BRM strategy?

suppose I end up with $350 should my strategy be

5nl
-->
$350(35BI)
shot at 10nl, move back down at $300

10nl -->
$1000(40BI) shot at 25nl, move back down at $875

(5 more BI than in the previous strategy)

Maybe im taking this with the wrong approach I don't know, I want to know your opinion. Another options is to keep grinding 5nl but replacing one table with one of 10nl and keep mixing for a time both stakes.

Let me know what you think, thanks in advance everyone for reading and for those who reply:D

My most honest advice would be: move when you feel comfortable moving up.

You seem to have a good chart of BRM, the rest is up to you. Some people will never feel comfortable moving up and that's ok. Why stressing out?

If you start losing, you do not have to wait until your BR is down to what you originally planned.

Great question by the way :)
