Im still learning the depths to poker but I'm kinda struggling on the math side of things. So I was wondering If anyone can point me to a good book on the math in poker? Thanks for any replies!

Hey, I'm currently reading Poker Math That Matters by Owen Gaines. The book is pretty straightforward and easy to understand even if you don't know much about maths or struggled with it in school. It also provides sort of "end of chapter" exercises for you to solve. It's going to require some work and discipline to really grasp and fully understand the concepts. But nothing good comes in an easy way. Good luck.

You can find several good quick/useful info on Youtube. Just look around and there are some that are very basic and will help right away.

I've never read it but I've heard that "the mathematics of poker" by Bill Chen and Jerrod Ankenman is one of the best. I'm going to read it myself in a few weeks from now.

I have that book ; very challenging if you can stomach it ! one long part is about obscure game theory and I cant see its relevance to poker . it does have important sng math info .

if your intrest is purely math I would not cherry-pick. Most of them have the same things writen in them odds on hiiting flushers, pot odds...
Personaly I have read "The mathematics of poker" by chen but other books dont vary too much.
Although if you are lloking for ПЕЩ strategies you hould looke for some soft and books/articles specifically about that

I try actually. But the hard part is actually seeing the math in online play live. I can never get a real example anywhere which is making it confusion when I see different things that don't add up to me

If u want to get better at preflop equities there is a phone App called equity battle...aslo im not sure what kind of poker u play but tournaments has more elements to it. Like how many bbs u have should dictate what hand u should be playing in any certain position. If i have 50 bbs i can raise utg with kq suited , if i have 22 probably a bad idea.
