To read books in 2018, no, thanks. It is better to watch video from some strong hands up the player like Doug Polk

I just finished Johnathon Little's "Mastering small stakes No limit hold'em" which covers both cash game and tournament strategy and it was really good imo. I was published last August so it's fairly new and up to date and the fact that it covers both game types in one book is a nice touch too.

I also read Every Hand Revealed by Gus Hansen! It is a very great book! I would suggest reading this book for all you new players!

Peter Clarke's The Grinder's Manual is a really good book. I'd recommend it...
But I strongly recommend you get a subscription to a reputable poker website and watch the strategy videos and read articles.
