I was wondering what everyone's definitions/opinions were of board texture.
i.e. What would they consider a "wet" or "dry" board.
Just trying to get a better idea of how someone would consider one board dry and another person consider it wet.
Is it meant to mean draw heavy, paired etc??
I always just take into account the board vs. what I think my opponents ranges are but never really "define" the board
for ex.
2h 4c 7d = dry??
Ks Qd 9s =wet ??
10c 10h Qd=wet??
If you could put examples, that would be great.
Thanks

Dry boards 36J rainbow ....4T8 rainbow
Wet boards 345 ......JQK......
Semi wet ...2 suits on the flop

Like you say, it depends on villian type if you determain a certain board wet or dry, but yeah you get the idea

Wet flop = when your friend's beer spills onto the felt and the community cards because you didn't install drink holders in your home built poker table.
