In online games you have to bluff a little less because a great number of players are playing in multiple tables at the same time, are using tv or smartphone. So they don't see you as a tight player..in case that you are one.The image you have stablished doesn't work here.

I agree you should bluff less in online poker because there are also players which are not good at poker and will call anything.. also because the game is a freeroll or a low buy-in which makes them think they have nothing to lose

Hmm, ... I only bluff when I think it will pay off. That means I have an idea of which players will fold, which will call, and which will fight back. Also, the stage of the game (tourney) plays into that decision a lot. Near the bubble is a good time (especially if you're currently the chip leader), but it's also a time when resistance means a push. Early on is usually a bad time when everyone is still full of p--- and vinegar.

yea people are playing multiple tables and being tight so it always is good to try to steal preflop and such but if they stay in then you know they have a hand

In the online game of bluff need to do more than raise the play alive. Especially this rule applies to a Freeroll and low buy-ins

Eh most people that multi-table use HUDs and your image is still intact. You could still bluff a TAG with TPTK to fold on a straight/flush table depending on how its played. What's important is HOW you bluff, not that you should bluff less. I dare anybody to survive in a tourney without bluffing, or throwing river bets on a missed hand. It's how you play. I feel the same way about this as I do as I do changing your playing style for maniacs and degens. Ultimately the players you talk about cant effectively profit without a HUD unless they're a poker genius and can play 12+ tables blind. Which some people do, but not many.

Threads such as this one are interesting because of how society will attach labels for visual, mental recognition. Poker society is the same way for example, bluffing, TAGS, and LAGS, donk, as some examples. When labels are applied in an abstract game this allows the brain to put starting and stopping points of memories, this will put starting and stopping points in the game as well.

For example, good variance, good emotion, running good, this leads to good memories but bad variance, bad emotion, running bad, and this leads to bad memories. Start; continue to play when recognizing the good, slow down, stop playing when recognizing the bad?

Abstract games that involve the perception of luck with disguised skill allows for people to develop bad habits, from starting, stopping points from memories that affect our thoughts. It must be this stop, it must be that start. I must be wrong stop. I must be right start.

Bluffing, poker in general is based on strengths and weakness of opponents. Strengths and weakness of your game. Abilities are used to exploit the opponent, to recognize when we are about to be exploited. Whether bluffing, or any example where you can play your hand with freedom that your opponent cannot because of what is recognized in your opponent’s abilities, this path leads to tendencies of players, follow this information to predict the actions of our opponent. Knowing this will allow for confidence of play when bluffing or when using any tool used at the table.

Bluffing is a part of who we are, bluffing does not need a label, the game is better without labels, but without facts about the opponent, ourselves, meeting our own expectations becomes increasingly hard no matter the type, structure, the dynamic of the opponent, and the tournament as some examples. Experience from making mistakes, learning from mistakes, will allow for improvement for bluffing, poker in general.

Poker is a journey, when playing there are ebbs and flows, eliminate starting and stopping points, this allows for continuous play for the betterment of the game. This allows the brain to record the memories closer to one continuous journey, this allows for facts to be recalled consistently in the short term, that produce better long term decisions with less starting and stopping points that labels could create, and then divide our memories as an example.

I used to play super loose in the beginning of all my MTTs, outrageous bluffs with nothing just to get an early lead...that sort of thing. I did a lot better holding off til later levels to get loose

Bluffing is part of game BUT your opponents must believe it. So, if You doubt then most likelly someone will notice that.
