Does anyone else have the temptation to limp in to every hand as small blind, or call a min raise as big blind? I've already put half my money in, so no matter what hand I'll put in the other half

Not really I'm a fairly tight player in general. I wont simply call with any 2 cards because I've got chips in the pot. Only if theyre maybe small suited connectors etc like 4S5S I would. But something like 2 4 off then no.

I used to feel the same way, but after enough 'coolers', which result from the reverse implied odds of playing poor hands, I feel I save more money just letting go in the small blind.

What prevents you from making a small raise if no one else has entered the game before you? often you just pick up the BB immediately.

These are hands I wouldn't usually play. I know I'm not very likely to win the pot but I can't resist playing then once my money's already in. Same happens if I have limped in and someone makes a min raise

you need to either fold in the small blind, or raise if the hand is good...
limping is sometimes possible, if to the left of you passive fish is sitting)

I think you should be mixing up your play from the blinds. From the small blind limping is totally fine, you don’t always have to raise if your post flop game is solid.

Definitely try mixing up things on the blind.
Depending on the situation, you almost always have several options from the blinds.
In general, I try to 3bet with some solid cards and then c-betting on the flop, or just fold. Rarely I just call, since if the flop doesn't hit me, I have no idea how to play it, since there is no real hand to put my opponent on. :)

My answer would be that it depends.

How big is your stack size ?
Is this money meaningful to you ?
What is your purpose of being at the table ?

In a big game, with deep stacks, I think folding becomes easier. I don't want to be seeing too many flops, out of position, with marginal hands. These hands are gonna give me problems on the flop. turn and river. You will have to make big calls or folds, later on in the hand. In a long session, you want as little self induced stress as possible. And these hands are stress builders, that will get you second guessing, and off your 'A' game.

In a small stacked game, where the stacks are minimal, go and have some fun. Does it make a diff when the blinds are 1 cent 2 cent ?

I can let the small go fairly easy. The big blind is harder to lay down for me. In the end trash hands = trash hands.

I think it is not so crazy because s the rise is minimal the poso can make profitable to play it with a wider range of cards

It strictly depends on the type of the player who is in front of you.If he is a tight player limping can be profitable.

this action is quite advantageous for disguising the power of your hand and for playing with an aggressive opponent

You should be defending your blinds with lots of hands but not with any 2 cards.
