Does anyone else have the temptation to limp in to every hand as small blind, or call a min raise as big blind? I've already put half my money in, so no matter what hand I'll put in the other half
My answer would be that it depends.
How big is your stack size ?
Is this money meaningful to you ?
What is your purpose of being at the table ?
In a big game, with deep stacks, I think folding becomes easier. I don't want to be seeing too many flops, out of position, with marginal hands. These hands are gonna give me problems on the flop. turn and river. You will have to make big calls or folds, later on in the hand. In a long session, you want as little self induced stress as possible. And these hands are stress builders, that will get you second guessing, and off your 'A' game.
In a small stacked game, where the stacks are minimal, go and have some fun. Does it make a diff when the blinds are 1 cent 2 cent ?
