I'll tell you all about a hand I played last week in a live tournament, I'll tell you the whole outcome, I don't usually do that and i let you lot tell me what you think but this time I want you to know the full story.
I am in this tournament with 30000 the blinds are 800-1600 with around 40 players left I have a fairly tight image. I am UTG + 2 and get dealt KdQs and decide to limp in, not something I ususally do but there you go, I get a couple of callers and the BB checks. All the callers had average chip stacks of around 25000 but the BB had around 50000-60000. The flop comes Js 9d 5s I check and it gets checked around. The turn card comes I think it was the 7s but definately a spade. Now this gives me to my reckoning a few outs on the river if I bet so I bet about 3600 or so it gets folded to the BB who then calls my raise and also raises 5000, now I'm wondering what he's got but he's only just joined the table and I don't know anything about him. He took a while to decide what to do so I do not put him on a flush I'm acutually thinking he's got a big spade or something but i'm just guessing.
Now my outs I calculate are the 3k's the 3q's as overcards to the board the 4 10's to make the straight and the remaining spades 8 to make the flush in total 18, the 3 options are fold which i think is poor, call and see the next card which would leave around 22000 which was the average stack or an all in and put the pressure back on him.
I decide to call , the river card is an unhelpfull 2d and he bets out 10000 forcing me to fold, he then shows his hand which is the Ks 3d a sort of semi-bluff. Obviously I know his hand now but would an all in have been the correct move? Or even a fold? Hopefully I've explained it all please don't tell me you need more info' because that's all i've got. Well if you hadn't limped KQo in UTG+2 in the first place you wouldn't have put yourself into that situation.

With that said as played the 8 flush outs on turn are "dirty" - AsXo and KsXo are definately possible holdings for the BB since everybody limped pre.

Next time fold it pre.
