Having the br means nothing if you don't have the skills to compete, playing a level just because you have the br for it (imagine perhaps you bink a tournament for 10k, but you have never played cash) is a sure way to burn through your br.
I recently had a br that could be considered a good brm for 100nl and possibly to shot take 200nl but I know I don't have the knowledge to compete at that level atm and so I decided to cash out most of my br and start out playing 2nl and planning to work my way up through the stakes.
My br came from grinding mtt's over the summer and doing well, but would be silly to think i could jump into 100 or 200nl and expect to win over any decent sample at this point.
There are a number of players on the forum however that have been up at those limits even as a recreational player, its just a matter of putting in the time and grinding up the br while building skills to not be the fish at the table for the limites lol.
