I went back to live play recent but I play more online. I played very tight to the point were the dealer callse out on it. I folded atleast 90% hands and made my money when I did play. Well I took a break and came back around 4am. I understand most players by then are trying to either make there money back or keep it rolling so the players have changed.

At new table bought in and 30 hands in after folding 28 I get kk bb position. Table is Mixed with players but only 30 hands in hard to tell but I guessed mostly loose play as 15-20 hands were played out to river. Anyway 6 ppl limp in and sb raise to 10. I know this is my mistake but I raised to 20. 6 people call. Sb fold. Flop 5 7 Q all off suit. I push all in with the thought most had top pair maybe hitting a Q and maybe one playing suited connector. 3 call. Turn 9 river river 6. One had player had kq other I don't remember and winner had suited A8 hitting the straight. He was big stack to begin with so how should of I played that out better? After it was over I was thinking I should have raised more pre flop.

How much was your all in shove? Sometimes I check the flop....just to test the waters. Would have let me know if anyone had flopped two pair or had AA and would have let me see the straight draw at the turn.

You answered your own question... if you raised to at least $30 possibly $35 the A-8 should have folded... but as you probaly know there are many idiots that call 3 bets w/ A-8 or worse... if the idiot called ur all in w/ A-8 on a 5-7-Q rainbow board then theres not much you can do but rebuy take this dumbass's money later in the session.

I was thinking I should have raised more pre flop.

definitely! generally you should raise enough so your offering about 2-1 odds.
easiest way to figure this out in a live setting: 3x the raise + all the limpers.

Thanks for the answers. I think I pushed all in for 70-80. I would have normally thrown a 3 bet on flop or check to see but I figured I had the best after the flop and didn't anyone sticking around.
