I am awsum10

was this just the case of luck on SDgolf's side or did I make an error not folding?

I think that considering blinds and stack size you did it right. Although if you had pushed all-in before you opponent he might have folded. You had all chances to win that hand, but he got that miracle 6 on the river.

My thought was, if he had a hand he would have called anything since that's how these people play in DoN and especially for only $1.50.

But i think you are right. I was trying to draw him to bet with my check after the flush. But maybe just trying to win the pot right there would have been a better play.

i think was terrible play and I would have let it go.

I am a board player.

If I miss or dont have nutts for me is easy lay downs. I get you saw flush but had a pair on board so the boat is possible.

He all in first if am understanding correctly with a pair on board on the flop? That should have given some restraint?

If I have ak and preflop bet? Raise am in pot for a good sum and flop is ak 7 of diamonds? Someone all ins? I FOLD

If I have pocket sixes and flop is 678 say and someone all ins I consider folding if would take me out of a tourney.

You will get other shots to build stack most of time.

I truly believe for me is the lay downs that make or break me in most games. Sometimes is super frustrating but honestly people usually catch a hand against you with the blind etc.. lol I try not to run into set hands now you have to know opponents too so take notes for future of that tourney and life of events if is a bluffer super aggressive you can pick and choose wisely.

Yet if a guy is playing tight primarily and he all ins like this a warning bell should have came out:)

Considering as to how that guy had 3 10s after the flop, I don't think you could have done anything to get him out of the hand. Maybe a shove after the turn might have scared him off, but I doubt it. Just bad luck.
