raise 3BB, if someone puts all in to throw, see the flop, if set to put in the bank's size, and if someone goes all in to go all in (except for the situation when on the flop JKA and all suited, here is possible AA or flash or street on the hand opponent, then need reset)

It depends on:

1. Your stack size
2. Your position on the table
3. The action prior to your turn
4. The opponents who acted before you
5. Stacks behind you

You can never say play this hand this way because so many factors go into your decision making at the poker table.

Well, there are going to be a lot of people that say there is not enough information...and certainly there are a lot of things to consider. But for starting information, I would say you want to bet enough to narrow the field to one or maybe two callers. It depends on the table and a lot of other factors like NHequalsFU mentioned. In terms of Nick's answer, I might say 3-5 BB is a good place to start. There is no formula though.

Good luck at the tables.

Any hand it s a different story. QQ is a great hand but you need to play smart.
Raise for sure, reraise if possible. Never, ever go limp or low raise.
Depends on position, your stack, others stacks, the way their and you are playing.
If you get triple on the flop you can check, call and get more chips at the end.

Usually you wanna be aggressive preflop and most times it's ok to go all in. You are only in trouble vs two hands.

If there are a ton of unnecessary aggression from normally non-aggro dudes on the bubble and they can knock me out (i.e. bigger stacks than me) and I can probably fold myself into the money then I would probably fold.

I agree with the other responses. Depends on the situation. Generally, I would raise or re-raise preflop, but be ready to fold if their are over cards on the board, or the board is wet and your opponents are showing aggression postflop.

Hi

What's the best way to play QQ in mtt ? ...

The way I play it is if its a turbo style tourney, shove all your chips in the middle and hopefully you win that race because blinds move up quickly and you got to get as much chips as possible.

If its a regular style tourney raise 3 or 4bb and if over cards comes Ace or King be prepared to fold.

I would not go in if there were already 3 people in the pot. That would just be a coin flip.

With a pocket pair QQ to play better against one or two opponents. So on the flop a pair QQ must be played aggressively to weed out players. From any position, you need to raise to 3-4 BB. If the flop comes an K or A, then you should check the strength of the opponent's hand by raising. If the answer is a reraise, then it's better to fold. But pocket QQ is certainly difficult to fold.

It depends on your position on the table and your location turbing, I always raise,
Then it depends on how many people are following and if you get sight and what cards are coming

Position dictates for me. Early position, call, mid with no raises, 3x, late position 3x again. Depending on stack call up to 3x reraise. Good luck.

Depending on your chip stack, I would at least make the initial bet at least 3-5 times the BB. After the flop if there isn't an over pair then I would push.

raise pre -flop 3-4 times the big blind,if you get re-raised got to decide if you want to race or be crushed by kk aa, to me this is no different than having any pair, lot of lose players that might call with any ace, gotta be ready to let it go if the board doesn't flop nice, you know online with forced random its hardly ever a nothing flop, gotta keep telling myself online there's always at least 2 hands that are playable maybe more gotta remember the site wants action:bike:

Hello
Playing a high pair is no gaurantee of a win.

How you play does not make you a sure winner either.

Because every table will have a joker calling you with random cards and hitting the board at some stage of the hand.

You have QQ you raise 3-5 BB - Good
You get called by a player.

Now, after the flop the game changes.

You could get called with AK or AQ and the board could give an Ace or K.

So lot of factors change the way any 2 cards a played.

My big bet pre flop with AA got called.

River 10 and J
I push all in and get called by AK and the river comes a Q.
Game over.:D

So no set rules can help you win a hand.
There is always a lot of ifs and buts.

Enjoy poker:bike:

I play QQ like I play AA, I am going to see the flop and even if a K or an A comes on board I am going all in. You will be surprised how may times I have caught players trying to bluff and represent a hand they dont have, a lot of times its smaller pairs too.

I think those HUDS tell them to bluff me on the flop, and they do, but sooner or later I bust their chops and catch them in their lies.

QQ or better than 50% chance to win!

QQ are hard to play but I will go all in most of the time they hold up for myself. I just find my luck has been getting better the more I play poker. I got no skills. LOL

I find myself there are a lot of players who bluff and eventually they do get caught when you call them with QQ by going all in. So many players call A whatever against QQs and many times they catch an As by the river but it is poker gambling any 2 cards can win.

I do not think that the game with the QQ is somehow different from KK or AA - position at the table, how many players are involved, your bank. No one advice for any situation. Always a lot of reasons that you should consider

It's starting hand with which many people think that their session but in practice it is not. Beth recommend 3 to see who will be called. If you call someone will solve the situation on the flop. If there raising pay and decide again on the flop. If there is then all in all depends on what type of player you are and whether you are able to throw:D:D

I love such questions so much omg
Dude, it depends on so many different things: stack size, position, opponents' turns etc. There is no one answer for all situations.
