Good evening, I'm new to the Forum, but I would like to start a discussion ....
I started poker with a little time, and when I get AA I get scared, I see more experienced players who get AA and already go from All IN preflop, every time I tried it I lost to chips and two pairs, so I search Always pay what comes pre-flop and if you hit another A I go from ALL IN, even so I iron a few times.
So what's the best way to play with AA pre-flop?
thank you

With all hands, not just AA, a good rule of thumb is try to see a flop.

Usually with hands like AA it doesn't help much unless you hit an Ace, but when you get boards with connecting cards or suited cards, it should slow you down. AA is still 1 pair and often hard to improve.

I would try isolate players to only 1 villain with a good raise and bet the flop accordingly. Always try to control the pot with your bets and if you know your beat, let it go. Its only 1 hand.

you like every poker player does not want to teach the theory! Then you have to go the hard way from their mistakes! When you lose less time and money if you teach a theory!

game waiting is the best strategy with AA, AK, KK... the flop is so unexpected that sometimes you have to throw away AA on the flop after a raise..

You shouldn't be scared of getting all in with AA preflop, it's the best starting hand and you are always like 80% favorite to win the hand.

Preflop all-in and the number is the best thing you can do. Not seeing the board to enter the game with AA could and should be, albeit with all-in.

I think this is where math deviates from real world poker. While you are 80% , that is heads up. If you are in micros or a tournament I don't think it's a stretch to see multiple calls really knocking down that 80%. Kid poker said one of my favorite quotes, "call me crazy but I want to see more than two cards before risking my tournament".

Re

I will play on in if I'm low stacked as its worth the gamble. But if i have a decent amount of chips I will call the blind and play it slow to get the other player to bet to increase to pot.
But have lost with AA all in to many times per flop.
In the end it all chance and seem more like gambling the skill to go all in preflop

As I have lost too many times with AA ( American Airlines) I decided to R preF all the time, so some fish wont call you with 65o or Q3o.

On F it depends if it´s dry or wet.

- if dry you can slow-play them nicely ( just Bc or min. rer)

- if wet Bet Bet Bet ! (from 2/3 to 3/4 of Pot )

On T try to get as much value as possible

On R if he still calling ... Bet Pot or even over Bet it

I try to go all-in preflop cause I don't play them well on the flop.
I would fold them when I see a straight-chance on the flop, when the oppenent doesn't have anything close to a straight etc.

I prefer not to shove with AA unless I am getting short stacked. I prefer to get heads up with an opponent and re-evaluate after the flop.

With two AA can be good to raise, but everything to lose.

Play AA like it's top pair pre. How many top pairs get beat? Do you bet the house with just top pair? That is how you think of AA

AA is one of the best hand of poker, 60%~65% to win, still have 35%~40% depend on your luck. No make sure answer to fold or all-in, it's part of luck and the style you play.

I do the same thing that I do when I have KK or QQ, I raise 4x in UTG and UTG+1 and 3x in another positions
When someone reraises me I do the 3-bet and ifs necessary I do 4-bet and 5-bet (all in)

You dont have to be scare playing these cards.

If the flop comes dry you can slowplay your opponent (max 1 villain and if he is agressive and will bet you for sure)
If the flop comes wet bet flop, turn and river to control the pot !

I think this is the best way. But everything can happens, today I lost AA for 99, flop came with 9QJ, I bet he goes all in and I pay

My mistake was not bet 3x and slowplay this hand.

Playing AA depends on your stack, or position on the table or where you are positioned in tournament play. I agree to a degree with many previous posts that you can shove all in with them, but that may get you just the blinds....it hurts to have AA in the big blind and only collect the small blind. The alternative to all in is to slow play them....AA usually gets you a small win, but could get you in trouble and a large loss.
I was playing live at a Niagara Falls casino at a $1-2 table with a max $200 buy-in. There was one player with about $700, and he used his large stack to bully everyone. In my two best hands to this point, 2 high pair and a straight to the ace, he won the first and we split the second. In both cases, most players would have folded to my raises, but he hang on to the end. When I got AA in the big blind, he had already raised 7½ times the big blind ($15), so I called. The flop was Qxx, no flush or straight possibilities. He bet $15 again, so I figure he hit the Q, and I raised to $30. The money went all in after the turn which helped nobody. He turns up Q6...you can guess the rest of this story.....yeah, 6 on the river.
I went for the big cash and lost my whole stack....but I would have been really annoyed at winning $2 with such a great starting hand. Most times I win that hand, but this time, I didn't....it happens!

Depends on the situation around you:
-Short stack is definitely an all in pre-flop
-Medium to large stack, a 3x-4x bet to try and get 1 or 2 callers max and probably a cbet on the flop
-If board has too many straight/flush draws slown down and try and control the pot (don't inflate it yourself)
-You can go for the trap (slow play) if it is against 1 player and get an A on the flop, remember that if you slow play them, you give them the chance to improve every time
