Hi, i always see someone saying : "to 1 hour of play we need 2 or more hour's of study". What is the best way of learning for free? I am Not interested in something like "intelipoker guides". I need a level above it, i want some better.

One more thing: Always on videos that i see, the player has on the screeen of the game a lot of numbers in many colours. Something like the statistics of the players. I would like to have a software like this, a free one. Please, help-me.

I use Jivaro as software but the free version can give you only player's VPiP,preflop raise and postflop agression. The software that you've seen on videos must be HoldemManager. About studying,i just read posts on forums, watch hands on youtube or watch pro's on twich.

Everyone will have a different method of how learning best works for them. I never put any time limit on it myself. During online play, I would play a session, then if I had a hand that gave me trouble I'd mark it.

After the session was over, I'd review the trouble hands and the biggest pots played that night in detail. I'd take those same trouble hands and post them on forums, getting other's perspectives. This type of learning worked best for me, and costs just your internet connection.

Personally, those programs you're talking about using like Holdem Manager or Pokertracker are a great tool, but not required. I'd highly suggest you aim to make that purchase if able, and if not, your first poker withdrawal should be to buy it in my opinion.

That being said, many high profile players like Phil Galfond for example, don't use a HUD, and live players certainly don't either! As long as you're making notes on your opponents about how to exploit them, you'll be fine. These programs will however make it easier to multitable, which really probably isn't best when you're learning anyway.

My suggestion would be to not bother with HUDs at first, instead focusing on playing solid TAG game, and making good, purposeful notes on opponents. Combine this with post-match hand analysis and interaction on poker forums and you'll be well on your way.

Heads Up Display's look like they are on the way out on the major sites. As far as study I would recommend watching successful Pro's on twitch.

i have also heard a lot about poker books... some books are obviously more famous than others. but spending so much money on books is really out of the question for me. is there any way to find any quality poker books for free in ebook version?

You can try holdem manager 2 (HM2) trial for 30 days. Play then review your hands in HM2. If you have any hands you can't figure on your own post them on forums. Also if you are really into poker try to find a study group. Create one yourself if you can't get into one.
HM2 need some learning also, look for some videos, it comes quite handy.
