I have just placed 1st in the Level 5+ $100 freeroll on 888 and now my bankroll is up to $16 after attempting The Goldfish MTT. I was wondering how I can now capitalise on this and begin to build my bankroll up? Do I stick to $0.10 or $0.40 SNGs and grind out a bankroll because I know I probably won't finish 1st again in a freeroll (20th is my best finish so far). I play recreationally but I do not want to go busto so that I am unable to play poker in the evening.

What are your thoughts?

Keep playing freerolls :D They cost you nothing. And play the lowest stakes possible. Play the same type of stakes, until you build your bankroll up to 100 buy-ins. 0.40 are too fast and too high in my opinion.

start to play pokerstars :D

What bonuses do Pokerstars offer? I am trying to make a point of never depositing on a site and taking advantages of no-deposit bonuses like what 888 offer (tourney tokens and $2 cash).

Play the most profitable games for you, and dont put more than 50bi down in one go.

Bankroll Management

I won a number of sattelites to the sunday million tourneys on different occassions and each time i unregistered and converted the tickets to T$.
Problem is i am bad on bankroll management and ended up losing my bankroll, although i was able to cash out some.
Any tips on how to take care of my bankroll if i get it back to $100 - $200 range?

For me is study and patience.

Tnx ollaf, but what should be the ideal games that i should get in to?
When i cashed out i left 200 in my bankroll and started playing a variety of tourneys and mostly spin n gos.
I did a lot of $3 and $7 spin n gos and i won and lost but ultimately im on the losing end.
Should i have stayed playing the satellites that won me tickets?

Particularly I do the following: try to play tables where I have at least 50x the amount in cash . Usually game tables of $ 1, or $ 1.50 to make a bankroll of $ 250 . Then start playing tables up to $ 3 dollars up to $ 500 if I lose money and go back to $ 150 , I'll be back playing table $ 1 . When I make $ 1,000 , I sell 500 and I always like that. But it takes a lot, so I say patience and study.

Dude, I made a deposit of $10 last final year on pokerstars. Then I started to play without the knowledge about how to play properly at the micros.
So I stopped to play because was final year period, when family travel and bla bla bla...
Were left over $4,80 in my account, and like 1 month ago I started to focus hard, really hard on games reviews and articles about micro mtt's and sng... I won 10 bucks like 2 weeks ago being 3th in a pokerstars freeroll, and now I'm focused in the $0,25 pokerstars sng
I'm playing this sng and twice a week I give a shot in the $0,11 satellite to a 1,10 knockout mtt $8K gtd...
Good luck, bro

Honestly, it just falls on good BRM.

With $16, stick with the .10-.25 MTTs.

Play the most profitable games for you, and dont put more than 50bi down in one go.

This is my current BRM rule:

$0-$1: Freeroll MTT’s ($50 re-buy freeroll)
$1-$4.50: $0.10 SnG
$4.50-$6: $0.30 SnG
$10-$30: $0.60 SnG <-- my current position
$30-$70: $1.50 SnG and $0.60 MTT’s
$70-$120: $3.50 SnG and $1 MTT’s
$120-$350: $6 SnG and $1.50 MTT’s
$350-$750: $12 SnG and $3.50 MTT’s
$750+: $20 SnG and $12 MTT’s
