What games should I be playing? At what stakes should I be playing? I play on pokerstars. How fast can I expect to double my BR by playing at those stakes as well would be great.

$100 would allow you to play 5NL with 20 buy-ins (the recommended minimum that most BRM strats follow)

If youre new to poker, start at 2NL and get a good feel for the game.

As to timeframe to double bankroll? thats going to depend on many many factors and pretty hard to predict unfortunately.

Stick to good bankroll management, don't play in a game where you have fewer than 20 max buy ins.
How long it will take to earn another $100 depends on how much edge you've got in the game you're playing (if you've got edge).

A few people on cardschat have spoken highly of micro stakes turbo SNGs for bankroll building, the reasoning being that you can learn a fairly basic shove/fold system to beat them for a good winrate, this would be a good option if you're new to poker.
Otherwise just pick the game you're best at, at stakes you're bankrolled for and grind away.

How quickly you can double your bankroll depends on various factors. As a relatively simple example, let's say you play SNGs and have a 25% ROI. That would mean you'd be up $100 after playing tournaments you paid a total of $400 to enter. The number of tournaments would depend on the buyin level(s), and the length of time would depend on how much / often you play.

That said, you win money by playing where you're +EV. I'd start low and see how comfortable you are, and move up according to that as well as your bankroll, not just the latter, which seem to be talked about a whole lot more.

You're going to have to break bankroll management requirements if you want to double your bankroll in any reasonable amount of time. I'm a cash game player, but it's going to take a very long time to double your bankroll at 5NL, you might want to consider jumping to 25NL if you're willing to take some risk but reap higher returns...you're never going to double your BR at 5NL.

To echo what a few other posters have said, start small, and try to be realistic. You can't "expect" to double your bankroll right away! Rather, why not "hope" to double your bankroll in a few months.. :) Good luck with it though!

There also some low buy in satellites on PS that can give you a chance at competing in a higher stakes tourney for less.

I think the best for you is to play that u want to play. If u want to play cash, okey let's play some cash tables for a while. But remember to study all that u can and have to hand. If u lost your money at the tables, don't worry because are so many Bonus whitout Deposit and kind of that for built Bank Roll, so u will find the oportunity to get back that $100.

Try on, enjoy the game
