I've been reading through various strategy articles, but find I do better watching videos. I found http://www.pokerstars.tv/en/tv/ has some online poker school clips on micro strategy. Anyone have additional online video sources? I'm mainly interested in micro cash games and baby MTs. Thanks in advance!:)

While not purely strategy, I find watching Twitch streams to be very helpful. My two favorite streamers to watch are Jason Somerville and Jaime Stamps. Somerville plays a variety of games at many different levels, both cash and MTTs. His Run It Up series has come a long way, but he did start by playing micro stakes. Most of those videos can be found on his YouTube channel. Jaime Stamps is an MTT specialist. One more Twitch streamer that I would recommend is Kevin Martin. I haven't watched him much, but he is friends with Jaime Stamps and is also an MTT specialist. I think that the benefit of watching good twitch streams is that the information that they provide and the types of play that they utilize and encounter are always current. Because Twitch can be viewed live, the players' approach to the game will always be relevant to the modern game. Some videos that might be more specific to what you described in your post are strategy videos by BlackRain79. He is a micro stakes specialist, and his videos are geared to that level, exclusively. To get an idea of what kind of advice you can expect from him, you only have to look as far as the title of his first book: Crushing the Microstakes.

I came across Microgrinder.com's YouTube channel, just today. I found them while looking for information about interpreting HUD stats, so the video on that topic is one of only three that I have viewed, but they are very informative, so far.

That's an interesting hand. I've haven't seen it before. I don't blame her for being cautious at the end, but did she really think that he had Kings? She has said that she was kidding, but I don't hear it in her tone.

I personally think she's kind of a dits lol don't get me wrong there are plenty of good female poker players out there. But generally they worked their way through the ranks...didnt just jump into high stakes bc they had money from acting. This does imho show the brain capacity of some actors and actresses...

This is one hand back in 2010. If you want to see what Miss Tilly is capable of, watch a few more cash games. For example, the party poker Big Games V & VI where she essentially ran over the table both years - and yes, the tables were full of talented players. Bottom line is, Jennifer Tilly holds her own in some very deep cash games. Plus, she is very entertaining.

Cheers!

I don't personally know if she "just jumped into" high stakes, but I don't see anything wrong with it, if she did. A person with money can jump into high stakes just as a person with a smaller amount of money can jump into low stakes. The difference is that she jumped into high stakes and is excelling, while someone jumping into low stakes might not have the same level of success, initially. I don't know how good of a poker player she is, compared to other pros, but her credentials show that she is good enough to be considered good. No matter how one is able to approach the game, and no matter how much money they are able to approach it with, it still takes hard work to become a good poker player. Not to be a stalker (I only had ten posts to look through, in order to get this point across. Cut me some slack.), but you mentioned liking Joe McKeehen in another thread. Jennifer Tilly has as many wsop bracelets as McKeehen, and she has more ITM finishes at WSOP events. Jason Somerville is another pro, off the top of my head, who only has one bracelet, and he's the hardest working person in poker. This is all conjectural, as these results are taken out of the context of the particular WSOP events, but it still shows that she is a good player who has put in the work to be as good as she is. It's not just any goober, or should I say "ditz", that has a WSOP bracelet.

I absolutely agree with this. Jcarver's twitch is incredible. It's extremely entertaining. He talks through most of his decisions and plays a huge variety of formats, in addition to occasional mixed games and other types. If you're interested in him, he's on a break from streaming until january but you can find all his previous streams following the link posted

gus hansen videos are amazing. He is an extremely smart person/poker player....check some of his videos out. He seems like he generally wants to help you. I feel like some people like phil helmuth and negreanu dont divulge important information or may even mislead people....

bbiase, I agree. I don't think that he has a centralized location where you can find his videos. On the Red Chip Poker podcast, which he hosts, he frequently says something like, "Just go to YouTube, and search for 'splitsuit'." Most of the results are from the Poker Bank channel, and he also contributes to the Red Chip Poker channel. Also, though live low-stakes* isn't the main type of thing that you (Poker247) were looking for, the co-founder of Red Chip Poker is on Live at the Bike, sometimes. I saw him in a rebroadcast on the LATB twitch channel yesterday, and it was interesting watching a player whose strategy videos I watch, playing live poker, as opposed to online.

*Edit: I guess I should say mid-stakes?

I don't know how much you know about the game, but if you are currently playing at a nice level and you want to go to the next level, you should take a look at SplitSuit youtube channel. He has knowledge, a good process of thinking and didatics.

Lol greatest hand of all time

I just looked into this guy, i really like what I see so far. thanks for the recommendation.
