I know it's been asked before but what is the best training site for tournament poker? I'm not that great with computers and play a lot of live poker but would like to take it to another level. I would also like to know what site would take me from step 1 through to the highest level. Thanks all again great site

Hey man

there isnt really any very good site for training tournies, you should just start an account on ftp or pokerstars, then try out some play money tournaments, but this should only be done to get used to playing online, youre not going to learn much about poker in those. You should put a priority on playing tournies that offer real money rewards, like private ones. Once you cash in one of them, use that money to learn some poker in the real money games

good luck!

In relation to Poker tourney training, my recommendation is to go to PokerSchoolOnline.com.. It's a supplemental site either owned or sponsored by PokerStars.. Also, if you're an Active member of PokerStars (earning at least 20 fpp's in the previous month) you'll be eligible to earn great cash prizes at the end of the month; provided you place well in the standings of the PSO Skills League.. This may be a great way to stimulate your bankroll; for free.. PSO also offers live training several days per week as well as a valuable forum and other great training materials.. Give it a shot and see what happens.. Best of luck..!

We've got a very accomplished tournament department at DTB, with 4 MTT coaches and a 5th on the way. I'd suggest doing the free trial to see if you like it. Among other accomplishments, Jeremy "ChipSteela" Menard won the Full Tilt Million guaranteed last year, and Adam "Squee451" Sherman was the single biggest MTT winner on Pokerstars last year.

I'll be happy to answer any other questions for you.
