I am working on getting my bankroll going. What is your advice and strategy to start building the backroll. Should I play sitngo at micro stakes? 6 or 9 player? what about DoN. What about ring games. what should be order of progress. I am currently playing sitngo $1.10 and sometimes $2.20. I occasionally do a MTT for cheap entry. I play $.02/$0.04 ring table. I want to build up enough a bank to go up in levels. Your thoughts?

Play what you enjoy most, work on continuously improving your game, and don't put a lot of focus on the size of your bankroll. As you get better, your roll will naturally grow. While that's happening, you're playing your preferred form of poker, and even if you could make a little more per hour playing something else, the difference isn't very meaningful in the context of your poker "career", the vast majority of which lies ahead of you.

generally if your the kind of player who will continuously plough through fields in mtt's winning lots of pots. you'll be a natural cash game player,

if your constantly accumalating chips you win more than you lose there for its more profitable to play cash and crush lower levels and be gauranteed a profit 9 times out of 10.

my problem I have is I enjoy big mtt tournaments but more often than not your hard work and skill in unrewarded and you fall short of final table...
this especially in turbos,

the right choice for a player consistantly running deep in tournaments is going to be a game when your rewarded for winning pots and not where you finish

Play where you feel comfortable and once you move up if things don't go as planned don't be affaid to move back down in stakes. I had to do this myself the games get tougher as you move up in stakes so use your best judgement.

Sitngo and DoN are excellent starters. I always suggest 6-player in the beginning but that's just me : )

I also suggest giving it time, poker requires patience and what is patience? A virtue. It truly is. Do not rush anything here, unless you feel you have a lot to spend, which generelly isn't the case.

I think that a deposit of 50$ is more than enough to start. With that you need to play very low stakes and very low mtt tournaments. Don´t play higher stakes if you can´t even beat the lower stakes. You will lose all your money sooner. Another nice thing to do is take advantage of mtt that have a guaranteed prize pool. But remember, always pay low buy ins.

I think the best way to getting up bankroll is play tournaments. If you don't have really big bankroll play low stake tournaments with buy-in $3 - $7.
Ring game table with very small blinds is for beginners, who's bankroll is very small or who simply learn how to play poker with real money, not with play chips.

But my advice is, if your deposit is around 100 bucks, then go to S&G's $5.00 double up's. It doesn't matter if it's 6 player Max or 10 player, half of the players cash. A good poker player, should be able to win many more than he or she loses. And it won't take long to build your bankroll.

I'd say around 50$ would be a good starting point. Give a shot at 1.10 mtt's and 2.20 mtt's whenever you are feeling it. CC freerolls or freerolls from other sites are also great when you aren't up to spending money on a tourney.

just play the game(s) you enjoy,
6man/full ring is a preference- be tighter on fullring
DoN okay but you must win 6-7 in 10 to make a small profit
I think a 9man 3pd is better in the long run (better payouts for winning) (or even 18-180manSnGs)
cash is a quicker way to win (and lose)
you already play them all- what do you do best on???
the only way to go up in levels is to be good, or you go broke
and it can be a long long process to make a decent bankroll,
sometimes even having to drop down after you move up and fail
there's no one answer- its something you have to figure out yourself
