When you got serious with learning how to play better poker, what sort of routine did you have or have now? Like what is your Rocky exercises for your poker improvements?
Read, read and play. You've found a great resource in Cards Chat, I think the younger crowd has really got an edge going on with all of the You Tube videos and software, some really great advice in all of that. But ultimately you're going to learn by playing, 1st thing to learn is bankroll management so you don't lose everything and can play and learn. Small stakes at first and lots, of lot's of hands. Good luck.
Read, play, review. You will be amazed how many times you will say to yourself, "Duh! What was I thinking?" if you just review your hands from last week.
Learn the rules, play, play, play, then review, Play, Review, and Play, If I haven't said it yet, Play, Play, Play, Read, Read, Read, Review, Review, Review.
