100% recommend Phil Galfond for intermediate players. He explains a way of thought you have to start getting used to if you want to be better than intermediate. Sometimes he shows you the math too.

I have read Harrington on holdem and Harrington on cash. It was very insightful and has a lot of sample problems that will help you understand spots in a game where you should fold or push. There is also a set of youtube videos that explains poker called MIT poker something. If you go to youtube and put in MIT poker it will come up. It was an actual class at MIT and has 6 or so sessions. Good luck on the felts!

I use propokertools.com to better understand spots and review hands. (their simulator is awesome for working out EV models)

Not sure about sites, but theres several good books.

Theory of Poker- Skelansky
Kill Phil/Kill Everyone - Nelson, Streib, and Hieston
Super System - Doyle Brunson (very dated, but gives good fundamentals)

another book i hear about regularly (which i have not read)
The Raisers Edge - "elky" grospellier

a lot of people would say just play poker. You will find that the learning curve is much slower without direction.
Dan Harringtons books are excellent also Jonathen Little.
In the end we are all our own students. Any book or tutorial is going to have info that is helpful. In the beginning you learn to do what is said but the greater lesson is why it is said. when you learn the why you begin to develop your game and stop imitating others.
which brings us full circle to you only develope after playing thousands on thousands of hands

I think anyone who thinks playing poker seriously needs to learn the basics of poker game,we all think we know how to play poker I have to admit that it is not as easy as I thought:)I play poker for many years but just for fun with society,I played many years video poker, but all this has nothing to do with real poker,I saw that it is difficult to win in a tournament although I was 2 times winner the cardschat tournament at poker stars I had a lot of luck:)Now I know I have reviewed all of that will help me to play poker, the more I play tournaments it is all the more worse by my game and placement:mad:means for me the theory that you have to play a lot of tournaments to know more about poker does not apply,I play only the free roll tournaments but I want to be always at the top:)

I readed 15-20 books on market, some of them are old but still can give a sigh how to think at poker tables, other are newer but also good, but i like very very much "Small stakes no limit holdem". This isnt a very specific book (like moshman hu book) but overall give a nice background to work. I dont write titles like harrington coz those books are propably in library of every serious players so... and on other hands books like Nguyen Blueprints are more for more advance players.
