There are many good suggestions in this thread as well, but, like the one above, you have to be careful with advice, cause some is lol bad.
The learning process goes at different paces for different people. My biggest advice would be to be patient - in game and in study - and be honest with yourself. Welcome criticism. And dont be afraid to use things you learn, dont be afraid to accept that you are not as good as you want to be.
