Is being led into All-in always bad?

I can't count how many times I called All-in and lose the hand. I'd tell myself never to do it again, yet when the situation comes i'd take the chance that opponent is bluffing. Seen people win with pair or two but I can never seem to pull it off. Any advice? :p

Call with Premium hands only. AA, KK, QQ and AK. Don't think that you're opponent is bluffing.

Do not call big raises if you don't have good cards because it will make you pot committed. If you have good cards and your opponent raises, you have to go all-in also. time to be on the other side. Cheers!

You need to work on your luck factor. Currently it seems that your skillset is lacking in the luckbox department & is in desperate need of adding a few tools into the repertoire.

Try doing things like:
- cover your screen after calling the allin (closing your eyes works too but not as good)

- Stand up from your computer chair and shout out loudly "ONE TIME!!!!"

- Look at the cards on the board as they're being dealt & instead of looking to see what cards villain needs to beat you... really focus on hoping for the cards that 'you' need (ie. you flop a gutshot straight draw & need a '9'... be specific with your request >>> call out "Nine of clubs".. although just saying "Gimmee a Nine" can also be successful. Calling out the 'specific card' is really just a more advanced skill but it can be acquired with practise!
You can be a bit more dramatic too.. ie. "Nine ball corner pocket!" (check out episodes of PokerAfterDark for this one... although I do believe it was said after the card was dealt & not before).

Good luck... keep working on it. Things will work out for ya with 'PRACTISE'!

This ^^^^^^^^^^^^^, by the way don't bother calling for the 7, 7 never comes when called, no matter the language, no matter the technique, ain't happening. :D

The solution is simple not call all in , himself to go first all in and you will have profit...

It's either for max value or to maximise fold equity

It's a strange feeling that you get when you feel you are right.
You start to feel it in your gut.
When you play long hours of poker you start to notice some patterns in betting.
Usually on a player who is almost always playing every pot.
Don't be afraid to hero call sometimes, I usually just let then bet at me when I know im winning.

I would work on reading people better. it sounds like your reads are off every time so take some time to read up on different types of players and how to analyze and play against them

it seems that u are calling looking for luck and your chip stack matters so depending on your chips I don't think u should be calling all ins just to see if a guy is bluffing unless u have a quality hand or if ur stack size is a lot more than his and it doesn't cost a lot to call.
