I think that regular Holdem players who think they've seen everything should try Omaha for a change :D
Joke aside, Omaha is really great game, it takes a lot of action and it's very interesting to play. I've played it more in the past but even these days i get involve in micro MTTs to feel the thrill

I think the equity values of the hands are much closer, prefer hands with some nuttiness, and position is really important.

Omaha is a more dynamic game, I have no experience in it. I find it difficult to count outs. The biggest majority of the best in the world plays both games, I believe one helps the game of the other.

I played once and found it a very fun game.

have to select the cards well and always the hands are well contested.

Omaha is a very loose game, your hands really comes together at the flop. Very rarely do you see a pre-flop aggressor shoving and winning. I have had the best game pre-flop (AAKK double suited) become useless on the flop. To paraphrase: if you're not drawing for the nuts, it's time to fold

It can be really fun. It is especially good when you have people coming from hold'em to omaha. Those players tend to stack-off badly way too often. I had a player call a river bet for over 99xbb (pot was 327xbb at showdown) with an unimproved pair of Aces. The board was straightening and paired. He should have known that Aces up was not going to win against a big river bet. That's the sort of stuff that happens way too often.

I'm currently grinding playmoney 9max lowest limit pot limit omaha. The feeling is like fishing in the freezer in the supermarket. I guess this has nothing to do with money games. I don't have any idea what hands I can raise against limpers  I know AxKxAyKy, AxQxAyQy etc but my hands have not been even close lol. Those hands are hard to make?

Some of the money games can be very juicy and easy. Maybe not quite as juicy as play money, but nearly so. Raising limpers is very, very situational in omaha. It isn't like hold'em, where it usually makes sense. You have to look at your position, how many people are likely to be involved on the flop, and how your hand is likely to play.

@vinnie, yeah I did 2 raises, one just to 'feel it out' and one limp raise with AxJxAy8y (or similar) against agro and 6 limpers, agro and one limper call. Flop 778 agro donks small, I raise both fold. Not really professional probably, but spr was small.

Omaha is a great game and one that I would recommend to every Holdem player to try at least once.

I find with Omaha you need to think more about what is going on and really try harder to read your opponents play; remembering that some people think that a pair is a great hand in Omaha only to be obliterated with a straight which has been drawn from pretty much nothing!

its a thinking persons game and I think assists your holdem strategy too!

I like Omaha, I play cash games only in Omaha, and tournaments I play in Hold'em, in Omaha it's easy for me to play and you can quickly collect good combinations and win, but there are misses, in Omaha you can play almost all the cards and this good for playing in Omaha, in hold'em in the cash game you just need to wait for pictures or a couple to play normally, and I do not like the cash game in hold'em!

It seems to me that in order to play well in the oom it is necessary to achieve something in the hold'em. And omega requires more attention of calculations and cold blood
