Ouço pessoas dizendo que é melhor ser mais agressivo e quando se trata de cartas ruins, como ser agressivo quando você está em 72o no small blind?

I think everyone should find a style that suits their personality,,,,You can`t teach a hippo to do the backstroke. ;)

Always be aggressive of course silly, but even sillier to be constantly passive, it is better to be slippery and able to adapt to different game conditions or to dictate these terms

Depends on the stage of the tournament, your position at the table, your stack, blinds, opponents. You do not need to always be an aggressor.

At different stages of the style should be changed and the position of the enemy and you can also change the style for a successful game, no experience is not clear how and when to apply the style, read books on tactics and everything will be clear!

yes it's better to play aggressively, but only when you can put pressure on others with your stack.

There are times to be aggressive and times not to be. Your game should be unpredictable to your opponents and this can only be done by changing gears depending on your opponents.

Aggression is not always the best

Being aggressive is good standard way of playing. But if you are at a table where everyone is playing aggressive then you're just going to burn through your stack. You pretty much need to play the opposite of what the people at the table are playing. If everyone is playing aggressive, then play passive and trap as often as you can. Let them do the betting for you and sit back and enjoy the action on your made hands while folding away the hands that miss.

Best way to be profitable is not to be agressive or passive, we are profitable taking best decisions, sometimes more agressive, sometimes more passive.

In general against the best players LAG is the best style. But against most regular players the answer is it depends.

Poker is really a game of constant adjustments and constant evaluation. If you continue to play one way, you will be exploited by observant players.

Mix your game up and stay unpredictable.

I do not think that you should always play aggressively because playing this way can easily get your into trouble, more times then not. Take your time, pick your strategies, and choose your bets wisely.

It always depends on your @ muscles@:icon_rr::dancing2:

sorry, my key language changed somehow.
Aggressive like ALL/in with every 2 cards that can make a hand? Come along, somebody is just waiting for your next stupid move!
Aggressive like you just fell down from 3 to 15th place, but you are already in the money?
No mames, gimme my chips back or take the rest as well!!!
Unless you have still enough to come back with a decent move, because player No.4 will not bet anyway...

Aggressive yes, but check out first, whom you are talking to, he might be out for a fight with you >(

I think being aggressive in most situations is good. I think it's almost always better to take control of the pot and put your opponent in a tougher situation. This also allows you to make changes to your range and to mix in more hands in a more deceptive manner. But also, as mentioned above, everyone needs to find their own style that works best for them.

For me learning to be aggressive when I have a hand I want to play was the first big stepping stone to becoming a better player. It should also be noted that there is a very big difference between being aggressive and being loose. I actually started to learn to be more aggressive from one of my friends, who is an extremely loose player. I realized that he was able to gain more information about his opponents hand by raising rather than calling and betting rather than checking, so I decided to mix it into my play style. I also realized that very often he was able to pressure players with stronger hands to fold in certain situations.

All in all, I think that the style and way that I play is also really dependent on table dynamics, stack sizes, position, and (most importantly) hand strength.

Image awareness is often underrated!

Play with both styles! Asses the ranges! Steal the blinds!

It really is not like that! ... you have to be aggressive when you enter a hand when you have a good hand, even more if you have done RAISE or you have a TOP PAIR in your pocket and your first step is to make an aggressive RAISE to limit the number of players that enter at hand, because the more players enter a hand ... the less your chances of winning, you also have to be aggressive when you see that FLOP projects are formed that can be favorable for your opponent .. and you have to be aggressive to not let him see free cards that your opponent ... you have to be very careful and be very careful in the FLOP

I prefer to be aggressive and play short. Fewer hands but trying to play what I can get to win and not risk my chips with trash hands fearing losing everything.

You have to be aggressive in Tournaments to win plain and simple. As with anything there is a time and place you got to pick your spots and your hands. Basic holdem strategy clearly states this.

So if you disagree with me I ask you this if you pick up AA do you always limp or call? If you have QQ with less than 10 BB do you just call? No you always raise these kind of hands so you are agressive. It is the only way to win.

I think it is the right way when you have reasons to be ... you can't be aggressive with 72o you mus balance your range is good to be TIGHT AGGRESSIVE but sometimes you can be too predictable so you what I mean with balnce is also have some Bluffs this strategy can work with hands like 78s 89s are hand that you can open aggressive and also have potential to hit big ...

Good Luck!
