To play on any table your advised to have 20x the buy-in in your bankroll.

So as you can buy-in with 100x the BB, you'll be buying into a 10c game for $10. So you'll need at least $200 to play those games safely.

As for .10/.25 you'll be buying in for $25, so you'll need $500 to play them safely. Hope this helps.

aliengenius has posted several articles/links on BRM, try searching for them, they're pretty detailed. Also look in the Strategy Articles.

I have a rather different opinion from many people when it comes to micro-stakes. I don't think having X times the buyin matters all that much when the buyin at a table is only $10 (for example). So what if that represents a large portion of my total roll, or even all of it? It's still just $10.

Granted this isn't good practice for BRM when my roll is large enough so managing it takes on substantially greater importance. However, if you don't have enough game to win another $10 quickly if you go bust, or to be confident enough to put up $10 from your pocket, then you have more important things to work on than BRM.

The number of tables doesn't affect what size bankroll you need overall. 20 buy-ins is the standard number, so $200 is a good size.

You should look at Chris Ferguson's guide. He played from freerolls and earned 10k. He has rules he follows for playing cash games or tournements games.

my rule of thumb is no more than 20% of your bankroll should be in play at one time. but i also set a stop loss figure of 15% of your bankroll for any one session. i would say you should have atleast 25 buyins for the level you play at to start 4 tabling. just make sure you keep a close eye on the 15% figure. good luck.

10nl = $250 (25 buyins)
25nl = $625 (25 buyins)

True, but if you tend to play more them 1 table, i would use that..
I am sure i can take down 10NL with out a problem.
The 5% BRM has been working for me great, But to some i would say wait, and go for a bit more, in your BR..

I thought I read someones advice in another thread that said to buy-in for 100xbb and have 8 buy-ins? ie $2 buy-in for 1/2c with a $16 bankroll is that wrong?

There so many out there. I prefer to use Chris Furgesons article on Full Tilt.
