Bankroll Recommendations?

Hey All,

I've done some looking online about the suggest bankroll recommendations for certain limits, and while it's pretty much agreed on that 300BBs are needed if you play limit... I can't really find anything definitive on No Limit.

Is there a recommendation for number of BB's or does it switch to number of buy ins for NL?

If so:

1) How many buy ins?
2) How many BB's should you have per buy in?

Generally speaking I don't enter a cash game of HE NL with more than 5% of my bank roll. I find that this way I feel entirely comfortable playing. Knowing that if I was to bust at the table, which shouldn't happen if you're playing solid, 5% of my bank roll isn't a massive hit.
I also use the 5% rule as a general buyin price for MTTs and SNGs. Hope this helped.
