Hey all
I started playing seriously kinda recently, i.e tracking and studying my play, adhering to a strict BRM plan. My roll has grown a bit since I started, about a week ago. I'm wonderinG how I can use my bankroll growth as an indicator to to my play. Does 10% growth per week mean Im playing ok? 50%? Etc.
I can play 15 hours a week, max, usually more like 10 hours.
Thanks everyone

No one? Really? Well my goal is a thirty percent increase per month. I had a good week, just about doubled my roll. I dont expect to run like this for long. With the limited amount of play I can get in per week I think 30% is reasonable. Bueller...... Bueller..... Bueller

Don't set monetary goals. Variance (aka luck, events of random chance) can turn really awesome play into a losing month, or really horrible play into a winning month. Set goals for yourself that don't involve money like:

1) Playing a certain number of hands or tournaments in a month.
2) Breaking your sessions into shorter segments.
3) Take 3 anti-tilt walks/runs/snack breaks in a month.
4) Reply to someone else's thread with a thoughtful response instead of bumping yours :p.

Number 4 makes the most sense. Thanks man! I had a good laugh at myself.
Cheers
