Bankroll management tips (Tournament-specific)
Alright. So, this has happened time and time again. At this point, I'm fully aware of it, I'm just not sure how to combat it. Looking for tips I guess.
I've been playing on Full Flush
for about a month, haven't made a single deposit, though have cashed in several of their freerolls
. With that money, I've been playing in little 50 and 60cent tournaments- they currently have about 50ish players on average. Now, it seems like I'm willing to gamble a *lot* more when I can afford to lose, even though we're literally talking about pennies here.
For example: I played in a 60cent buy in tournament earlier, re-bought 6 or 7 times ultimately yielding me down like $3 or $4 .. and I didn't even end up cashing in it. I don't tilt, it's just a matter of willing to put myself at risk on mediocre draws when people place huge bets.. which is a huge leak in my game.
Now, when I only had like $2 in my account, I seemed to at least cash in every single one I'd enter. Whereas at this point, I'm playing like a ****ing donkey. Not proud of it by any means, just looking for a little advice I guess.
Note- I'm absolutely terrible in cash games so I just don't play them at all. I love tournaments, it's like 2 hours of pure entertainment to me. And at just pennies a pop, it's worth it.
Constructive and cynical criticism are both welcome. I can take it.
