hi everyone!

Let's just say, hypothetically u bought in for 200$. u enjoy playing tournaments the most, but you need to get to work building.

so cardschat world, without a generic answer, would you recommend playing multiple tables at a lower stake or one table at a higher stake. For example, playin 4 .2-.5NL tables or one .1-.25NL?

Try to follow the 50buy in rule, you will need 50 buyins if you drop say to 25 you move down a stake, if you get 75-100 at a level try moving up

You should start in NL2, imagine that you don´t have those "$200" and in instead, you have "$40" , and now that´s your BR. You have to improve it as much as you can. NL5, should be played with $100-125 . Starting playing in limits that you can´t management will break you.

Whatever is better and fits more to the capabilities each have . sb can play only 5nl ,other can play the higher limit , other lower limit .. if you have leveled up limits , you play the higher limirts , if you have the appropriate bankroll. you cannot play 25nl with 200$, you can play 4 tables 5nl gl . if you had 500$, iwould be better one table 25nl :)

The problem as I see it is you're confusing two different issues: bankroll management and multitabling.

The "right" level for you depends on your particular attitude to risk, but around 50 buyins isn't a bad starting point.

Multitabling is a completely different issue though - you don't necessarily drop down a level just because you're multitabling.

Example: if you've got a $250 bankroll and you decide your going to play $5NL then you play $5NL, whether you're playing one table or 12 tables at a time.

If you're not comfortable playing that many tables for those stakes then you need to drop the number of tables, not the stakes.
