Hello and Happy New Year CCers! My question is, in your alls opinion, what is proper bankroll management. I found a chart that makes some sense online that states Cash games: 100 buyins conservative , 40 buyins recommended, 20 buyins risky. Sngs: 75 buy ins conservative, 50 buyins recommended, 25 buyins risky. Mtts: 100 buyins conservative, 75 buyins recommended, 40 buyins risky.
I would like your thoughts on practicing sound managemnt without wasting time on limits beneath your skill, as this handicaps a player from maximizing value. Ty.

that chart actually sounds about right.... I try and keep at least 50 buy ins no matter what if possible. Sometimes you have no choice but to defy bankroll management when you dont have a roll to work with, but you still need to manage. Don't go putting your whole roll looking to get lucky on one tournament... make sure you pick your spots wisely, and play games you feel comfortable playing and not worrying about what is at risk.
