I have been crushed many times when holding a decent pair to the point that I started to think that made hands are the hands with which I lost 80% of the times so I thought that may be I need to reshape my strategy and to stop playing these kind of hands as I win easyly suited connectors more than the made hands or pairs.
I tried All in with AA/KK/QQ/JJ/10-10... lost most of the time 80%
I tried standard raises sames hands lost 60%
I tried limping still loosing around 60% of the times
This kind of hands made me think and re-think each time I lost a Tourney or a sit'n'go because of a made hand that I have either overestimated the strength of my own hand or underestimating the strength of my opponents.
One of my friends told me You ca not lose with AA if you fold it preflop so should I dismiss playing what is supposed to be the best starting hands because of some Bead beats or should I look for an other strategy playing these hands my be limping and waiting for action to come from my opponents?
I'm a great believer in luck and I find the harder I work, the more I have of it. Thomas Jefferson
