Hello all.
After playing poker for many years both online and live games I have concluded that I have no bankroll management. To be honest, I've never really implemented long term strategy into my game ever. This is mainly due to being just a recreational player, playing large mtt or 180man sng. However, due to a recent change of heart I have decided to go back to complete basics, study game theory and poker theory and make a genuine attempt at building some sort of roll...
At the moment I believe myself to be an average player. I have made the final table of tournaments such as the big $11 and big $22 and seem to be able to consistently cash itm in the smaller sngs. To track my results I have purchased hm2 and will be using sharkscope.
My plan is to deposit $50 and grind the 180man $1 hyper turbos on pokerstars. I will be doing this until around $500-1000. On achieving this I will reassess and look to move up stakes. I would love to hear opinions on is this sensible BR management? I understand these tournaments to be of a highish variance. What I believe is that with the stakes being so
Low my edge will come from other players shipping their stack on non premium hands. This will mean that my tournaments are probably going to come down to a coin flip in the early stages...
I will be updating this thread with interesting hands I feel need reviewal and BR updates.
