I am attempting to build a bankroll. Using only freerolls. I am disabled due to a work injury so I have time to work on my game. My problem is financial, my disability check pays my rent and food but that's about it. So here we go, I play on ACR and BOL (bet-on-line) this site is in my opinion horrible but that's another story. I live in the US so choices are limited.I started with no deposit on ACR, I won a On-demand $10 freeroll I think it was $2.50 and I tried to get passwords for the other freerolls and freeplays. Hopefully I will earn the PW's for this sites freerolls.
Anyway I am up to $56.64 in about 3 weeks. I am playing cash 1/2 cents, $3 and $5 SnG's, of course I am still playing freerolls. I just want guys to know it is possible to play poker and slowly move up. You need patience that is for sure. I will keep everyone updated, I am aware that a downswing can wipe out my BR, I think if I can reach $100, I can figure out a real strategy. I would like people to tell me what they think is the most profitable things to play at smallest stakes. Curious about the MTT's and what people think?? I am winning my cash games at only 26.5 bb/100 over a small sample 20,000 hands, This is different sites all counted together so I don't think it's very accurate

you are moving in the right direction. Low stake cash is more +Ev than MTTs .. Build your bankroll and start playing $1 MTTs

Looking good, by securing positive ev at 2NL you can relax a bit, losing it all would be hard =)

You are properly rolled for 2NL already and if your win rate is straight line upwards some shots to 5NL is not even too wrong at weekend. But playing $3 and $5 dollar SNG’s regularly is moronic strategy with that roll, go lover with 50BI roll (well debatable this size but you get the idea).

Also no need to think what is most profitable; your roll is already ready. Start thinking more about what you like. In long term plan, playing in many formats is not too bad plan if you have lots of time and you plan to play years. Btw 12bb win rate and 1000 hands per hour at 2NL give you hourly 2.4 dollar income.

This is good progress. Just keep playing like that and don't risk too much bankroll sum in one day.. When you see something is not good .Stop take a rest and play tomorrow

Your cash game strategy is fine but like brave mentions 3-5 dollar SNG's are a bad idea. You're essentially risking 10% of your roll every time you enter one and it should be more like 1-2% for MTT/SNG. I also grind through the freerolls as I refuse to deposit on any site. I was up to around 200 right before Christmas then I went on a terrible run and lost 160 in 2 weeks so watch for variance cause it will come. Good luck on your venture and on the felts!

Good luck building your bankroll . Try to play more freerols to expand it even more , to reach 100$ , to be able to play more game . For now 3$ and 5$ sng , like the other guys also said , it's out of the question , it's early , and for big bui in tournaments too early . Play more games , study your mistakes in the hand analysis subforum , you can play if you want the 0.11 tour , ok , it's low cost , you can afford it , I used to play it too , it's easy to get ITM and get at least the buy in back . You can still continue playing 2nl , 20 buy ins just fine . If there are 0.11 sng in BOL play them , for higher it's too early imo . Good luck whatever you decide , watch out for downswings .

Congratulations! This is the field! I also started this way, but I do not go very far and I see myself almost breaking ... really the level to climb the bank is another, and you have to work hard, and work hard for it ... good luck on your way!
