Hi guys, i've been playing ocasionally for several months and i've tried to play cash games twice but i did not like it. I played cash games at stakes up to $ 0.03 / 0.06. They play a strange poker at these stakes and was wondering if the quality of poker raises with higher stakes. Please help out!

Cash tables are not my forte, sometimes you might hit it right, but its a good way to get rid of your bankroll imho!

Quality of poker definitively raises on higher stakes by simple reason that everybody have more money to lose. For you if you want to play at small stakes i recommend to try to find a table with a players who plays tight poker so not to seat on the first table that you get but to exploit your options.

I think its depends on your skills in cashgames and your bankroll
If you are good in cash games and have 10$
bankroll than 5/10 c is good to start with.

Only you can figure out what `your` game is,,try different game formats(full-ring,6-max,KO,Limit,PLO,,,)It took me 6 mths to find my game. You`ll find it,,it takes time, but you`ll find it;)

Yeah but i read that it is better to play the stakes with which you have at least 20 buy ins and that adds up at 05/10

Good evening, my friend, I recommend you start playing low-limit games and do not forget to play the freerolls until you get a good bankroll and dominate poker so that you can go up with caution, good luck.

I think the rates should directly depend on your bankroll, and then you know better

The stakes should obviously depend on ur bankroll, however I sometimes ignore this rule only playing tournaments NOT cash, cash games require much more descipline and patience for ur own fish that'll feed u with money or decent hand. Tourneys are better for me in terms of their competitiveness and I often get in the money though not often to the final table. Seek and u'll obtain ur own way.:)

certainly increases the level of players and technique according to value. I advise you to play buy-in under even more cash game, the game is very turn and river. you need to have a more accurate technique to play this game.

the micro buyin in cash games is NL2, so start from 0.01/0.02?

If you want your opponents to play good poker, you aren't going to make more than you lose.

But I mean if that IS YOUR attitude, then sure, don't GAF ;)

strange poker is a strategy game, and as long as you do not understand it, you should not look for other game restrictions

You can play at a rate of 0.1-0.2 cents, these are small bets and you can feel like winning money, but if you understand that you can play well, you can go to 0.2-0.5 cents, but you do not go immediately to large rates there shark you will go bankrupt!

I agree, i've read about 20 buy in's. So if you have a 5$ buy in you have to have 100$ and it is a bit too much for me right now

Think you should start at the smallest stakes and work your way up. The whole "the micros dont respect my bets" is not real and if you cant adapt at the micros then you wont be able to adapt at higher stakes.

Agree with XXPXXP. You should start playing from the lowest possible limit and climb up higher as long as your bankroll will be increasing.
