I am a recreational poker player with a huge passion for thw game and a long term goal of playing the game for a living.
My biggest leaks are u think the ones that many players with potential. Things like BRM, dicipline and confidence proplems.
I have generally been profitable playing low stakes tourneys. Having been relativity successful in the past 12 months. Keeping in mind I'm still only 20 I think that I have the natural ability and intelligence to beat mid-stakes poker.
It's becoming clear to me that there is almost no consistent income to be made live especially around my area as the games are getting fewer and far between.
The problem I have is that I have no friends who want to improve and take the game seriously. I want to be able to talk about hands with people and different aspects of the game.
I feel isolated and am just wondering what resources are available to somebody like me.
Any insight would be appreciated

Well there are a lot of online communities just like this one where you can share your thoughts and experiences and discuss about poker strategy. At this day and age finding people with same interests is really easy. You could probably find a voice chat with people who also are interested in poker and who like to discuss on topics you mentioned.
