Even if it's a good combination of cards, any pair can beat it. If there is no card that favors on the board is to cheer to win with Ace as high card.

the problem that AQ in PREFLOP you consider that you have a good hand, but it is not!, you have to be very careful because the players like to play the Q card with other combinations and usually they sometimes double pair or are tied to STRAIGHT or FLUSH (QK 10Q JQ)

As it turns out, this is not the worst hand, but it's not the best, for example, I had suited suited on the button, and jacks had to go to regret me, so you have to be careful even with such a hand, even the position did not help me.

I don't think you can call a hand 'good' or 'bad' as such, when most have similar odds of actually hitting something. I think the problem with a hand like AQ is that it looks good and can mislead you into thinking the hand is okay, even if you don't hit anything after the flop.

A Q not a bad card, but on the pre flop is not worth the risk with it

AQ, is a poker hand, that I usually lose with it, you can bet with it, but without taking many risks.

It is not a bad hand, but it is not that it is invincible, the possibilities in the pre-flop are high but even so you must know how to play it

AQ is just good enough to steal Blinds from the Smallblind or defend BB against Button or SB steal. Any other fold, unless they come suited

In this case we have to evaluate several aspects.
Position on the table, size of your stack, type of players that are on the table and of course number of players at the table you will have to play that hand.

If you do not think, it's not poker!

AQ is a good starting hand, and in most cases I try to play with such a card except when the player goes all-in or raise several players at the same time then I'll make a decision depending on the number of chips in my bank !!! you can not sit and wait for AA or AK to try to play good hands and look for combinations!

AQ off or suited if utg i'll make a relatively strong bet! dont let players holding 9,2 or a low pair to limp in if a villain re raises you know theres a mega fish bluff or a stronger hand, i know i'm stating the obvious but call at your own risk. if short stacked im pushing all in. Cheers

AQ is definitely a trouble hand in big pots. I try to avoid huge pots with AQ. I love raising and opening with it but it’s definitely a risky calling hand. But without risk we have no rewards. Every hand can get us in trouble if we let it. I always play AQ with a keen awareness that it’s very exploitable and vulnerable. Against the right opponent (table maniac, table donk, tilted players) AQ can give us a big pot.
