Anyone want to help me not suck at poker?
Hello. I put some cash on a poker site
in August, played around a bit. Became frustrated and quit. I still have the money on the poker site, and I have the poker software on my desktop in a folder labled "oos" for out of sight (to help avoid compulsive play). I'm probably terrible at this game and my luckbox failed me or I am awesome at it and my luckbox really failed me. Either way, not playing is as much of a pro strat as I can manage at the moment.
Today I opened up the folder and played for about an hour lost a little bit and turned it off again. The last hand I was bored had KQs and the other guy had AA, my king paired. He bet alot and I was bored. The result didn't bring a relief to that boredom. I called the game dull in the chat and left (oh burn!). I play 2 cent 4 cent (because I am leet pro).
I would like to be good at 2 cent 4 cent. I'm assuming being good at it brings some level of enjoyment to it. It is possible that I am wrong on that. Maybe the people who play this are driven by hope and masochism? I have no illusion that I will be able to play this for a living or any of that crazy crazy.
I would like to take tips/ instructions on how to play the game better from this thread, follow them with a stupid level of adherence for short hour long sessions, and report back. The only things I'm unsure of are the responses I will receive, and how I would report back.
