Does anyone have any recommendations for a pay site to help improve my game? I have been playing for awhile and got tired of all of the old methods (ex. books and videos) I am looking for another way to get new ideas/find leaks in my game. I currently play 1/2 NL. I would like to get into 6max and move up in stakes.

Any recommendations are appreciated.

Thanks!

I am not sure what you mean by a Pay Site.

Do you mean a real money site?

Do you mean a paid coaching site?

What??

I was referring to the teaching sites. You pay a monthly or yearly fee for. Card Runners or something like that. Sorry for the confusion.

I mean for me the best one that i have had opportunity of dealing with is deuces cracked. So much content. Its almost too hard to be able to soak it all in. That would be my recommendation.

That was another one I was curios about. I guess my biggest question is are these sites beneficial to users? I read a lot of content on here but that doesnt mean it is always useful. It could be about any random subject or I might not agree with an opinion on how a hand should have been played. I guess I am ultimately looking for coaching from someone that plays higher online limits($2-5 and $5-10) to point out what I am doing wrong and things to help me move up. I really dont know how to go about that. I used to play $2-5 and $5-10 regularly a few years ago but stopped playing for awhile. The game has seemed to have changed a lot since I have last played. The player pool has definitely got a lot deeper than years past.

I'd check out the major training sites in terms of which ones have reasonably recent content that's appropriate to your level and what you're looking to learn / improve.

It can also be helpful if you can see some examples of the relevant instructors' teaching styles since people differ in how well they explain things, plus you're probably more receptive to some teaching styles than others.

A lot of the sites have a free 7 day trial, so maybe check some of them out, and see what you think.

I have memberships at Deuces Cracked, PokerZion, and Cardrunners. If you are looking for leaks, then maybe check out Leakbuster. It has training content in it that show you how to correct the leaks that it is finding in your game.

Haven't tried the others mentioned, but I recommend that you check out FloatTheTurn.com.

Seen a couple in this thread I didnt know about, as a MTT player I find Tournament Poker Edge to have great content. Used to have a CardRunners membership which had pretty decent cash table content. But to answer your question, yes these sites can be very beneficial to advancing your game and finding your leaks etc.
